Do plecos really eat all my algae? Many do graze on algae, especially smaller species like bristlenose, but no pleco is a complete clean-up crew. They still need a proper diet of sinking algae wafers and vegetables, and they produce a lot of waste, so don’t rely on them as your only solution.
