Kanamycin-based antibiotic intended for susceptible bacterial infections of ornamental freshwater and saltwater fish. Dropsy, popeye, fin damage and cloudy eyes have multiple possible causes; check water quality and signs before choosing treatment.

Water dosing: Remove invertebrates, chemical filtration, and turn off UV and ozone. Use 1 included measure per 5 US gallons, repeating every 48 hours for a maximum of three doses. A second course should only be considered when indicated by Seachem and fish are tolerating therapy.
Medicated food: Combine 1 scoop KanaPlex, 1 scoop Focus and 1 tablespoon of food. Feed daily until the infection clears, up to one week, according to the manufacturer.
Precautions
Avoid water-column dosing in tanks containing shrimp, snails, corals or other invertebrates. A separate hospital tank is preferred. Maintain aeration and water-quality monitoring. Aquarium use only; keep away from children.
