Supplier-listed as Dermogenys pusilla, this small livebearing halfbeak occupies the water surface. Provide a securely fitted lid, floating cover, open horizontal swimming room, and small floating foods. Males can spar; avoid crowded surface conditions and very boisterous tankmates.
Before You Buy
Ask about the current supplier batch, size, feeding and holding-water conditions. Choose tankmates based on the individual fish's adult needs and behavior, not solely on a peaceful label. Maintain a fully cycled, stable aquarium appropriate for the confirmed species.
