Approximately 12-inch dried cholla cactus wood for freshwater aquarium aquascaping and suitable terrarium décor. Natural shape and opening sizes vary by piece.
Aquarium Preparation
Rinse and soak according to the supplier's instructions before introducing to an aquarium. Wood can initially float, gradually soften, and release tannins that tint aquarium water. Do not assume boiling is necessary or safe for every piece.
Livestock Safety
Inspect hollow openings for entrapment risks, particularly for fish that may wedge into the wood. Biofilm can develop on natural wood for shrimp to graze, but it does not replace a balanced diet. Remove decomposed or damaged pieces as needed.
