Compatibility and Installation
Check the outside diameter of the equipment's air fittings before purchase; standard-size tubing does not guarantee compatibility with every brand or nonstandard fitting. Avoid tight bends, pinches, and connections that can loosen. If an air pump is below aquarium water level, add a correctly oriented check valve to reduce the risk of back-siphoning.
Available at Tropical Treasures Wyo in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Complete Your Sponge Filter Setup
This tubing connects a compatible separate air pump to an air-driven sponge filter. Check whether a standard airline check valve is needed. Tubing alone does not power a filter.
