Praziquantel-based treatment for susceptible gill and skin flukes, tapeworms, and other flatworm parasites in ornamental freshwater and marine fish. It is not a universal medication for every parasite or fish illness.
Manufacturer Dosage
Shake vigorously. Add 5 mL (1 teaspoon) per 20 US gallons of actual aquarium water; subtract the volume displaced by gravel, rock, and decorations. A single course lasts 5–7 days. Repeat only as necessary and no more often than once every three days, following the current package instructions. A 1 fl oz bottle treats approximately 120 gallons for one dose.
Important Livestock and Equipment Warnings
PraziPro is not universally safe for all reef invertebrates. Hikari specifically warns about feather-duster worms and related delicate worms, and certain cultured marine flatworms. Use a separate treatment aquarium where appropriate. Remove activated carbon, disable UV and protein skimming, but maintain biological filtration and aeration. Do not combine with other medications or sulfur/sulfinate-based conditioners without manufacturer approval.
