Why Test pH?
Changes in pH can indicate changing water chemistry. A pH measurement does not by itself test ammonia, general hardness (GH), or carbonate hardness (KH), and there is no single ideal pH for every aquarium species.
How to Use
Use the sample volume, number of reagent drops, timing, and color chart specified in the included manufacturer instructions. Read results in good lighting. Avoid making rapid pH adjustments based on a single reading; first verify the result and consider KH, livestock requirements, and overall water stability.
Before Purchase
Check the exact printed measurement range and package contents on the retail kit. Do not assume the kit measures every freshwater or marine pH value.
