Tests nitrite (NO2) in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Particularly useful during biological-filter cycling and when troubleshooting water-quality problems.
Manufacturer Directions
Fill the included clean tube to 5 mL.
Add five drops of nitrite reagent, keeping the bottle vertical.
Cap and gently shake several times.
Wait five minutes, then compare the solution to the matching chart.
Fritz lists up to 180 tests per kit (item 04002). A fully established aquarium should generally have undetectable nitrite. Testing alone does not make water safe; investigate any nitrite accumulation promptly.
