Non-antibiotic oxygen-based treatment for susceptible external fungal and certain bacterial infections of ornamental freshwater and saltwater fish. Identify the likely condition before treating; similar-looking symptoms can have different causes.
Manufacturer Directions
2.5 mL per 10 US gallons, or five drops per gallon for smaller tanks. Repeat daily only if symptoms persist, for a maximum of five days. If symptoms are still present on day six, Fritz advises selecting a different treatment rather than repeating Maracyn Oxy.
Care and Safety
Maintain normal filtration and increased aeration, but turn off UV sterilizers during treatment. Fritz does not recommend removing activated carbon for this medicine. Do not use in aquariums with starfish or related echinoderms. A hospital aquarium is preferred where practical. Follow the current package instructions.
