How to Test
Follow the manufacturer directions for the required water sample volume and reagent drops. Add drops while mixing until the specified color-change endpoint and convert the number of drops using the supplied instructions. Do not assume the drop conversion is the same for a different sample volume.
Important Information
KH is different from general hardness (GH) and is not a direct pH measurement. Suitable values depend on the livestock and system. Use gradual water-chemistry adjustments when needed, and keep testing reagents out of the aquarium.
