Levamisole hydrochloride anti-worm treatment for susceptible nematodes, including Camallanus, roundworms, nodular worms and hookworms. Expel-P does not treat tapeworms (cestodes) or flukes (trematodes).
Manufacturer Treatment Schedule
Use one packet per 10 US gallons. After 24 hours, perform a 25% water change while siphoning expelled worms and waste. Repeat the treatment cycle once, one week later, according to the current product label.
The 10-pack provides a single application for up to 100 gallons or a full two-dose course for up to 50 gallons.
Safety
Monitor water quality and fish behavior. Fritz reports compatibility with plants, invertebrates and biofilters when label instructions are followed. Use a hospital aquarium where appropriate and do not medicate without considering other causes of illness.
