The Aquarium Co-Op Coconut Hut is a natural coconut-shell hideout for compatible freshwater fish and shrimp. It provides cover and a possible cave-spawning site for species such as Apistogramma and smaller plecos. Moss or rhizome aquarium plants can also be attached to the outside.

Safe Use
Choose a shelter with an entrance large enough for the individual fish to enter and exit comfortably. Inspect the edges and rinse the coconut hut before use. Place it securely on the substrate. It typically sinks without extra anchoring. The cave provides shelter but does not guarantee breeding or eliminate aggression.
