Aquarium Co-Op Nano Coarse Sponge Filter Black
Reusable air-driven sponge filtration provides mechanical filtration and surfaces for beneficial bacteria. Suitable for freshwater aquarium setups needing gentle circulation, including many shrimp and breeding systems.
Size: Nano. Sponge: coarse pore. General starting size reference: 5 gallons and up; use stocking and actual airflow to determine suitability.
Air Pump and Accessories
This is a filter assembly, not a powered filter kit. A suitable external aquarium air pump and compatible airline tubing are required and sold separately. A properly oriented check valve is recommended, especially if the air pump is below aquarium water level.
Care
Gently rinse the sponge in removed aquarium water or dechlorinated water when debris collects or water flow decreases. Avoid replacing all established biological media at once.
Availability: In-store purchase or local pickup only at Tropical Treasures Wyo in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Shipping is unavailable for Aquarium Co-Op products.
