New Fish Arriving Weekly

Fresh freshwater fish arrive at Tropical Treasures Wyo every week — quarantined, conditioned, and prepared for your aquarium. This is where you'll see what's just landed at our Cheyenne, Wyoming facility, from beginner-friendly community fish to rare species you won't easily find elsewhere.

New Freshwater Fish Arrivals, Updated Weekly

Each batch is hand-selected for health, color, and aquarium suitability — recent arrivals have included captive-bred Boesemani Rainbowfish, wild-type plecos, rare shrimp, livebearers, tetras, and cichlids. Every fish goes through our in-house quarantine and feeding program before it's listed, so what you see is typically eating and active by the time it's offered. Most arrivals sell within a few days, so if something catches your eye, grab it.

Acclimating Your New Fish

Gradual acclimation reduces stress and improves survival. Float the bag in your tank for about 20 minutes, slowly mix in tank water, and watch compatibility with existing tank mates. New to the hobby? Our team is happy to help with setup, feeding, and water quality — and our care blog has step-by-step guides.
