What Is Java Fern 'Windelov'?

• Java Fern Windelov (Microsorum pteropus "Windelov") is a striking variant of Java Fern known for its lace-like, intricately forked leaf tips, which create a delicate, bushy appearance. This plant is epiphytic, meaning it naturally attaches to surfaces like driftwood or rocks instead of rooting in substrate. 
• It thrives in low to moderate light conditions and is beginner-friendly. It has a slow to moderate growth rate.

• Ideal conditions: Low to moderate light, standard freshwater community tank. CO₂ and fertilizers can enhance growth but are not essential. 
• Propagation: Easily propagated by cutting or pulling apart the rhizome; new plantlets may grow from leaf tips as well.
