Tropica Rotala

Rotala rotundifolia, commonly known as Tropica Rotaia, is a versatile aquatic plant native to South-East Asia. Featuring 15-30 slender stems with narrow leaves, it thrives under strong lighting that encourages its characteristic red coloration. This species grows compact and bushy through frequent side shoots, requiring regular pruning to maintain light penetration and overall health. Unlike other Rotala varieties, it is relatively undemanding, making it suitable for a range of aquarium setups. Also referred to as Rotala indica, it adds both structure and vibrant color to aquatic environments.
