Flourite Sand 15.4 Lb

Flourite® Sand is a fine, porous clay substrate designed for planted freshwater aquariums but suitable for any freshwater setup. Best used on its own, it requires no gravel additives, doesn’t alter pH, and lasts for the lifetime of the tank. It is uncoated, untreated, and provides long-term support for plant growth.

Setup

Rinse Flourite® Sand before use to remove any dust from transit. When filling the tank, pour water slowly over a bowl placed in the aquarium to avoid disturbing the substrate. Some initial cloudiness is normal—use mechanical filtration or Clarity™ to speed up the clearing process.
