Flourite Black Sand 15.4 LB

Flourite® Black Sand is a fine, porous black clay substrate ideal for natural planted aquariums but suitable for any freshwater setup. Best used on its own, it requires no additional gravel modifiers, does not affect pH, and is uncoated and untreated. It lasts the entire life of the aquarium without needing replacement.

Setup

Rinse Flourite® Black Sand before use to remove any dust from shipping. To avoid disturbing the substrate, add water slowly by pouring it into a bowl placed inside the aquarium. Initial cloudiness is normal and can be cleared with mechanical filtration or accelerated using Clarity™.
