Loaches

Clown Loaches are a hardy and adaptable type of fish that will thrive in a variety of water conditions. With the right pH (between 6.0 and 8.0) and alkalinity (3° to 10° dKH), they will flourish in your aquarium. They also require clean, well oxygenated water with moderate to strong flow. Keep them in groups of 5 or more to prevent stress and skittish behavior, and provide them with a minimum of 175 gallons of space once they reach 6 - 12 inches in size.
